Hello, I’m Tyler.
Growing up in the greater Seattle area has given me the opportunity to develop in such a progressive and future defining area. A city provoked by its musically grunge roots with a history of vibrancy and color in ideas, people, and lifestyle.
My son was born during my sophomore year of college while I was still very much learning about myself and the world I hoped to create one day. I was 18. Juggling competing priorities of raising a child, excelling in academics, defining my personal and racial identity, and navigating a toxic marriage ending in divorce was an enormous challenge. I persevered and managed to find wisdom and determination while overcoming such a defining moment in my life. This is important because it has shaped who I am today. It’s my story of courage I take with me into all my future endeavors.
I graduated from the University of Washington - Seattle with a BA in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts and a minor focus in Architecture. My career has started with an emphasis supporting cross functional operations and product support teams within Aerospace. During my time at Boeing, I cultivated a portfolio managing rate planning initiatives, product development, process improvement, and system integration projects. My leadership acumen has been crucial in steering each project phase I have supported while communication, accountability, and consistency have been my recipe for success.
I aspire to blend my keen eye for artistic design with my expertise in leading projects.
